Subhadra Yojana 20 lakh women

The Subhadra Yojana is a government program designed to support women, particularly those from low-income backgrounds. Under this scheme, financial assistance is directly transferred to their bank accounts, helping to empower women financially and improve their living conditions.

The authorities have finished reviewing the women who were initially rejected from the program. Out of 2.67 lakh women, 22% had their cases corrected and are now eligible for the financial assistance. This review process was done at the local level, where officials looked into the reasons for rejection and fixed the issues.

Despite the improvements, some women will not receive their payments on November 24. This includes women whose names were removed because they were found selling grains without owning land. These women will not get the money for now, but officials will conduct physical checks to verify their situation. Once verified, they will be added back to the program and will receive their payment in December.

Another group of women, about five lakh, will not receive their payments on November 24 because their bank accounts are not linked to their Aadhaar numbers. Linking Aadhaar to the bank account is required to get the money. These women will receive their payments once the linking process is finished in December.

To help these women, an awareness campaign will be held. Anganwadi workers, Mission Shakti beneficiaries, and Panchayat Extension Officers will visit women’s homes to explain why it is important to link their Aadhaar numbers with their bank accounts. They will also assist women in linking their accounts and help solve any problems with the process.

The funds for the Subhadra Yojana will be distributed by Chief Minister Mohan Majhi on November 24. The distribution ceremony will take place in Sundargarh. The government is dedicated to making sure the process goes smoothly and that all eligible beneficiaries receive their payments without any further delays.

The Subhadra Yojana has been well-received across the state, especially by women in rural and underdeveloped areas. The financial help is expected to improve their living conditions and support their families. It also empowers women by giving them an income they can use for things like education, healthcare, and small businesses.

The government has made progress in distributing the funds, but officials have stressed the need for the process to remain transparent and fair. They have assured that every deserving woman will receive the assistance, and any issues with rejected beneficiaries will be resolved soon.

As the state continues with the Subhadra Yojana, it is expected that more women will benefit from the program in the coming months. The Odisha government also plans to expand the scheme in the future to include even more women across the state.
